Goodin, Judith Weir (nee Smith)
Suddenly on Sunday, January 9, 2011. Judith will be sadly missed by her sons John David (Kathryn) and Michael (Angelika). She was loved and cherished by her grandchildren Emily, Claire, Sophia and Joshua. Lovingly remembered by her sister Mary (Donald) Hughes, Jenny, Sam and Daunt and many friends in Hamilton, Dundas and beyond. Judith raised her family and taught high school English for over 40 years in Kingston Jamaica, later returning to Hamilton and finally settling in Grimsby for the past 6 years. As she requested, her ashes will be returned to her beloved Blue Mountains in Jamaica. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRISMBY (905-945-2755) on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 10 a.m. until the service of remembrance at 11 a.m. If desired, donations in Judith's memory to Save the Children would be sincerely appreciated.
