At McNally House Hospice Grimsby on Saturday, November 20, 2010 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Ann (nee Batz) for 63 years. Dear father of Michael of Cambridge, Milton (Lillian) of Smithville, Melvin of Hamilton and Mark (Sara) of Springbrook. Cherished grandfather of ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also missed by brother Brian (Olwyn) of England. Joe served with the British forces in the Royal Marines in Europe, India and North Africa during WWII. Predeceased by daughter Marion and sisters Florence, June and daughter-in-law Karen. Special thank you to Dr. Deegan and all the nurses at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, and the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at McNally House for all your extra care and concern. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Thursday, November 25, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. If desired, donations to McNally House Hopsice, Grimsby would be sincerely appreciated.
