It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Joe on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the age of 80 with his family by his side after a hard fought battle with cancer. Love and soul mate for 58 years of Natalie. Loving father of Rod (Sue), Lori (James Gardner) and Melanie (Brendon Lindley). Proud Gigi of Hunter (Lisa), Krystie, Courtney (Jordan), Amanda, Quinton, (Ali), Jennifer, Katrina (Andrew), Spencer, Paul and Alex. Loved Pra Gigi to Zacharias. Joe was the owner of Automotive Appraisal Service for the past 51 years. A special thank you to Dr. Wm. R. Love and the oncology team at Joseph Brant Hospital. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line (1 stop light north of QEW). BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Compass Point Bible Church, 1500 Kerns Road, Burlington on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Clinic at Joseph Brant Hospital or Compass Point Bible Church would be appreciated by the family.
