Passed away peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2010 at Cama Woodlands Nursing Home, Burlington in his 89th year. Joe Lo Cicero, beloved husband of the late Rosemary of 67 years. Joe will be truly missed by his children Nick, (Sharron), Stephanie (Dave) and Joe (Michelle). He was a loving grandfather to Krista (Daniel), Gerald (Michelle), Heather, Megan and Sydnee, and great-grandfather to Zoey. Joe was also pre-deceased by son John, daughter Mary, brother Nick and sisters Angeline, Rose, Joanne, Mary and Tina. Also survived by sisters Carm, Jerry, and Isabelle and many nieces and nephews. His memory lives on through his family who believe his spirit is reunited with his wife Rosemary’s who passed away on September 6, 2009. The family would like to thank the staff at Cama Woodlands for their care, support and kindness, as well as Dr. Chiu for his skills and compassion. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Vigil Prayers Thursday at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 287 Plains Rd. E., Burlington on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 10:30 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
