Cranstone, Jordan - Son of Rob and Sherry Cranstone, big brother to Paige and Ella, passed away at home early Saturday morning, February 6, 2010, surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 7 after a one year battle with Brain Cancer. Jordan will be missed by grandparents W. Frank and Phoebe Handerek and Michael and Irene Cranstone, Uncles, Shawn, Steven, Mark, and Auntie Katherine, Great Uncles, Aunts, extended family and friends, and the community at Ascension School. Jordan bravely faced his diagnosis and treatment, his heroic spirit admired by everyone. Jordan will be lovingly remembered for the gifts he gave all of us. We learned to love deeper, live more fully and appreciate all that we have. He was truly an angel on earth, loving, kind, always caring for others, and with an endless spirit for life. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 6:30-8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 196 Kenwood Drive, Burlington on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to McMaster Children's Hospital, POGO, or Childhood Cancer Foundation in memory of Jordan.
