Obituary for Jordan Alexander Boctor

Jordan Alexander Boctor

Jordan’s Life

Jordan was born on March 6, 1991, the first and last time he would ever be early. From the moment he was born everyone knew he was going to be very special. He was always smiling and needed everyone around him to be smiling too. His contagious laughter and fearless personality made his parents, Magdi and Renate, realize at an early age that this was no ordinary boy.

Nothing made his parents happier than seeing Jordan happy. His smile lit up every room he walked into, but he also found a way to get into trouble in every room he walked into as well. He didn’t make it easy on Magdi and Renate growing up, but they knew his mischievous ways came from a heart of gold that just wanted to keep those around him entertained. Jordan was always putting everyone else first before he could even talk. When he would visit his family in Montreal, he would always need to buy every person back home a gift before he could buy himself something. He lived to make people happy.

Soon he was off to school, where he made lasting impressions on his teachers, and of course – the principal. His classmates knew Jordan as the class clown who would never turn down a dare! Eventually, his time at high school led him to find his passion for the world of computers and information technology. When he spoke about something new he had learnt there was always so much excitement in his voice. Although no one in the family really understood his world of IT, they knew if they needed help with a computer, he could fix it.

As great as Jordan was at the little things, he needed to learn more. So his next adventure was taking Construction Engineering at Niagara College. His new skills became very useful as he worked alongside Magdi and Michael at JL Metals. But work did not end at five o’clock. As soon as he got home, he went to his laptop and started working on his own projects. As much as he learnt from school, everyone knew that most of Jordan’s knowledge he taught himself through countless hours of research. He developed TechTalk and became an avid writer for many tech websites. This was his passion by day, but everyone knew that once night came his passion was celebrating life with his friends and family.

Jordan’s older brother, Michael, and younger sister, Meghan, always made the perfect trio. The three of them were always taking care of each other and letting people know that they were an unstoppable team. As a team, they quickly made friends that will forever be known as family. The group constantly expanded because Jordan was always making friends anywhere he went. Every day with Jordan was an adventure.

During one his adventures, Jordan found his partner in crime. Jordan met Nicole three years ago and he knew right away she had to be his. It didn’t take long before they became inseparable and she too, became part of the family.

There are so many words that could be used to describe Jordan, but the main one that comes to mind is LOVE. Wherever Jordan was, you could see the love coming off of him and all of the love towards him. One thing that everyone knew for certain is that Jordan was loved.
