It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Henry Seagers, at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the age of 69. Beloved friend and husband for 45 years, of Karen Wortley, dearest father of Jay (Lesley) of Ottawa and Kathleen of Waterloo. Cherished grandfather of Abbey Marie Seagers of Ottawa. John is also survived by his sister Christina Jerome (Bill). Predeceased by his parents Jack and Jean Seagers. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., where Funeral Prayers will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 1 p.m., with a reception following the service at the Funeral Home. Cremation to follow. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Joseph Brant Cancer Clinic, Carpenter Hospice or the Salvation Army, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
