DICECCA, John Baptise
Peacefully at the Henderson Hospital on Monday, March 15, 2010 at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Angela (nee Civitareale). Loving father of John-Paul DiCecca (fiancée Kelly Corcione), Alexander DiCecca and Paola DiCecca. Predeceased by his parents Rocco and Poala Maria (Gravela) DiCecca, neice Paula Marie DiCecca, sister-in-law Catherine and nephew Rocco DiCecca. Cherished brother of Antonio DiCecca (Marg), Angelo DiCecca (Mary), Severin DiCecca (fiancee Phyllis). Special son-in-law of Mario and Settimia Civitareale. Dear brother-in-law of Rita Chiaravalle (Domenic), Fernando Civitareale (Carmella), Mary Almonte (Pasquale). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. John was a teacher with the Halton Board of Education for 34 years, 14 years at Champlain Public School and 20 years at Central Public School, where he will be missed by staff and students. Special thanks to the caregivers of St. Joseph's Healthcare and the nurses at the Henderson on the Oncology Floor for their care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday from 7-9pm and Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service at Flamborough Baptist Church, 41 Concession 5 East, Waterdown on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 11am. Interment St. Thomas Cemetery, Waterdown.
