At the Henderson Hospital, Hamilton on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, John Brettingham of Stoney Creek, formerly of Burlington in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Timpano) Brettingham. Much loved father of Larry Brettingham (Rheema Reis), Susan Cowan (Jim), Diane Volasko (Mike) and Rebecca Brettingham-Filice (Anthony). Cherished grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 7. Loving son of Irene Brettingham (late Edward). Private Cremation has taken place. The family invites friends to a Celebration of John's Life to be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one Block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Monday April 26, 2010 at 10:30 am.
