Obituary for John L. Beamish

John L. Beamish
BEAMISH, John
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Dad and grandfather on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Sunrise Senior Living. Beloved husband of the late Pamela and dear father to David and his wife Sasha and the late Mark. Cherished grandfather of Daniel and Caitlin.

Pre deceased by parents, Stanley & Elsie (nee Beale) and older brother, Terry.

John will be sadly missed by sister-in-law, Grace, cousins Chris and Joanne, Naomi and Katinka, Theresa and Henning Rose, Joanna & Mikala, David's father-in-law , Yep Kee-Main; brothers and sisters in law, Agi, Linda, Affee, Charles, Nicu and Dermot and nieces, Sara, Paige and Lauren.

John was an avid golfer, a rugby player and an accomplished sailor, thanks in a large part to all the years spent as a sea cadet. He loved to travel, particularly long driving trips to the U.S. John immigrated to Canada from England and continued his career in the insurance industry, retiring from Employers' Re in Toronto.

John will be fondly remembered by all those who knew him.

Special thanks to all the dedicated staff at the Sunrise Senior Living.
