It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Joe, at Juravinski Hospital, on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Mary for 39 years. Loving father of Jennifer, Michael (Nicole) and Jeffrey (Sarah). Proud Bubba of Lauren, Gaby, Sophie, Jayken and Jesa. Joe will be dearly missed by his sisters Connie Semana (Late Joe), Margaret McKinnon (Terry), brothers Manuel, Humbert (Maria), Gilbert (Mary), Tony (Ana), Charlie (Evelyn) and Mario, and by his mother-in-law Teresa Medeiros (late Joe). Brother-in-law of Vidalia Reis (late Joe) and Nancy Harper (Paul). Joe will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 3-5 and 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11:00 am, followed by reception in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to McMaster Children's Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
