Passed away at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Friday March 26, 2010 at
the age of 28 after a courageous battle with cervical cancer. Cherished daughter of Jim Schumacher and Lynn Schumacher. Much loved sister of Jamie. Loving granddaughter of Ray and Ruth Schumacher and Gloria Owen and Lloyd Waumsley. Loved niece of Robert and
Michael Schumacher, Lori Sharpe and Lea Anne Moran and cousin of Aaron, Brad, Cam and Mark. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, Jodie traveled the world, becoming a member of each community and supporting herself by working in many businesses such as the Fiery Grill, Dorset, The Weigh West, Tofino, B.C., and at Toast, Paihia, New Zealand. Private Cremation has taken place. Memorial Gatherings to Celebrate Jodie’s Life will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday March 31 from 7-9p.m. and on Thursday, April 1 from 7-10 with Sharing of Memories and Tributes Thursday at 9 p.m. if desired, expressions of sympathy to The Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
