In her 66th year, peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, after a lengthy illness, was called home to her family and friends, who celebrated her arrival. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob). Dear mother of Christopher and wife Susan, Michelle O'Brien and husband Donald, Robert and wife Laura. She leaves behind 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter who will miss her greatly. She will also be deeply missed by sisters Shirley Piper and late husband Edward, and Diane Johnson and husband Mark. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Ethel Parish and brother Jon. JoAnne lived for her family and we will now live to honour her. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333) on Monday from 6-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation.
