FIX, Joan Elaine (nee Douglas) With great sadness we announce Joan's sudden passing on July 1, 2010, at her home in Burlington in her 72nd year. Cherished mother of Bob, Dave, Mike (Linda), Cathy and Cindy (Alan). Loved daughter of Dorothy and the late Donald Douglas. Joan is survived by her sisters Heather, Sharon, Linda, Donna and brothers Bill and Dave. Joan will be missed by her grandchildren, Amy, Mike, Cassidy, Logan and Mason and her many nieces and nephews. A service of remembrance will be celebrated at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME 485 Brant St. (one block north of City Hall, Burlington (905-632-333) on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 1 p.m. immediately followed by a Celebration of Joan's life at the Reception Room, 360 Pearl St., Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
