Passed away at The Village of Tansley Woods, Burlington on Friday, March 11, 2016 Joan Carr formerly of Mississauga and Toronto in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Carr. Loved mother of Doug Carr (Sharon), the late Christopher Carr (Louise), Joanne Murray (Eric) and Les Carr (Lisa). Cherished grandmother of Chris, Lauren, Jonathan, Malcolm, Michael, Danielle, Paul and great grandmother of Liam, Aidan, Hailey, Ben and Zoey. Loving sister-in-law of Marilyn and David Carr and predeceased by her brother Leslie and sister Audrey. Dear friend of Mickey Webster and Joan Oatt. Private Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 12 noon until a Service of Remembrance at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Private Urn Interment St. John's Norway Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Joan to The C.N.I.B would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
