nee Harrison
Peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Walker (March, 2007). Loving mother of Craig Walker (Bente) and the late Dianne Whiteley (the late Rick). Cherished grandmother of Jason (Angie), Robert (Deanna), Jeannine (Tom) and Karina (Kyle). Much loved great grandmother of Owen, Claudia, Jackson, Walker, Willow, Olivia and Katia. Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Elizabeth Harrison, siblings Audrey Good (the late Edmund) and Jack Harrison and brother-in-law Norm Walker. She will be fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Betty Harrison, Beverly Walker and Joyce Walker. Jeanne was a long time employee of the Royal Bank as savings manager. She enjoyed 25 years of retirement with her husband at their summer cottage. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 3-6p.m. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jeanne to The Carpenter Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
