With heavy hearts we announce that Jean passed away peacefully in her sleep at Brant Centre, Burlington. She is now reunited with her loving husband, John (2007). Jean is survived by her devoted son Joel (Terry); grandsons Joel (Kelly), Sean (Rachel) and Daniel, and great-grandson John. She leaves behind brother Bill Kyle (late Constance), sister Anne Cassells (Don), sister-in-law Kay Garfield, and she will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Jean was a little lady with a big presence, winning the affection of all who were lucky to know her. We send special thanks to Dr. C. Ragonetti and all the caring staff of Brant Centre. Cremation has taken place, and a Service to Celebrate Jean’s Life will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street, Burlington on Tuesday, January 30 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will follow the Service from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. and again from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. For those who wish, donations to The Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, Burlington would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
