We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jean Mumford on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Dear mother of Kevin and his wife Lynne, Michael and his wife Claudia, Andrew and his wife Leah, and loving Grandma to Samantha. Survived by her two brothers David Brooks and his wife Mary, Norman Brooks and his wife Valerie, nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her close friend Linda and all her new friends and neighbours in St. Elizabeth’s Village.
The family would like to thank Dr. Neary and his team, and the wonderful nurses who have cared for Jean this past month. Your care and compassion during this difficult time is appreciated.
At Jean’s request there will be no service, a reception for family and friends will be held at Royal Botanical Gardens, 680 Plains Rd W, Burlington, in the Café Annex room on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 2-4 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice or the Ontario SPCA would be appreciated.
