RALPH, Irene Barr (nee Boyd)
Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the age of 73. Loving mother of David and his wife Laura of Hamilton. Predeceased by her son Robert (2015). Cherished Gran of Jack, Cian and Lochlan. Dear friend of Robert Ralph Sr. Irene ran a successful Shaklee nutrition business in Oakville & Burlington for 40 years and through her depth of knowledge and care helped many loyal customers. Irene had a full life with many friends and much laughter. She will be dearly missed. The family would like to offer a very special thank you to Dr. Gee, Dr. Wilson and Dr. Garland for their support. They also laud the exceptional care and compassion that Mum received from Dorothy (RPN), staff and nurses in the Palliative Care Unit at Joseph Brant. A Celebration of Irene's Life will be held at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church, 1401 Guelph Line, Burlington on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. The family are asking those who attend the service to dress in a bright colour or accent to reflect Irene's vibrant personality and love of bright colours. If desired, memorial contributions made to the Joseph Brant Hospital-Palliative Care Unit would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
