Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Saturday, August 29, 2015 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late J. Ross (1997) and loving companion of the late John (Ian) Robertson (2004). Lovingly remembered by Ian’s children, Rev. Sheila Plant (the late David) and Peter Robertson, also by Andrew Plant (Jennifer), Lorraine Robertson, and Mark Robertson. Irene is survived by Barb (the late Terry) Woods, Pam and Simon and Peter Woods of England and Mary Jane in Australia. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at St. Luke’s Churchyard at a later date. A special thank you to Dr. M. Foster for the care and support that he has given his “English Rose” for so many years. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Smith’s Funeral Home, Burlington, (905-632-3333).
