Suddenly and peacefully at Brantwood Lifecare Centre on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Jack. Loving mother and best friend of Carol Vandermolen (Henry) of Burlington. Loved grandmother of Brynley Eckhart (Adam) of Ridgeway and Lyndsey Nyland (Mike) of Binbrook and great-grandmother of Kallye Grace. Irene was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church since 1949 and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxilliary at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday from 7-9pm. Funeral Service at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 1371 Elgin Street, Burlington on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 10 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
