Reverend Ian Lynk
Lynk, The Reverend Ian L, BA, B.Ed., M.Div.

Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, March 4, 1936.
Only Child of Laughie and Sadie Lynk (nee Ferguson)
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on March 19, 2018 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Delia Lynk, loving father to Captain (Retired) The Rev L. Allan Lynk (Colleen Piers), Kevin Lynk(Cory) and Darlene Lynk. Cherished grandfather to Daniel(Sarah), Jessica (Dave Woeller), Erik, Kassia, Janna(Adam), Nathan, Liam and Elle.
Great grandfather to Addison, Noah, James and Thomas.
Graduate of Mount Allison, Mount St Vincent and Pine Hill Divinity College.
Ian was ordained to the United Church of Canada in 1960 and served congregations in Dorchester, NB, Truro and Dartmouth NS, Montreal, QC, Renfrew and Burlington ON.
Ian was a consummate student, he studied palliative care, Adlerian psychology, family counselling, and conflict resolution. He enjoyed woodworking and myriad of other interests.
Delia and Ian enjoyed travelling abroad (Russia, Israel, Egypt, Europe and the United Kingdom) and spent many happy winters in Florida.
His Celebration of Life is to be held Sat, March 31st at Wellington Square United Church. The Rev. Katie Southon presiding. Visitation from 10 to 11, service at 11:00, luncheon to follow at the Church.
