Wake, Hilda Dorothy (nee Bowden) â€" Peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Oakville, on Friday, February 4, 2011 in her 80th year. Hilda is predeceased by her husband Harold (Oct. 23, 2010). She will be fondly remembered by her daughters Kathryn and Elizabeth (Godfrey Cheng), and her faithful companion and shadow Beamer, her brothers Stanley, Dennis and Albert. Predeceased by her brothers Ernie, George, Teddy, and sisters Winnie, Vera, and Lilly and will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and overseas. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stop light north of QEW) BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333) on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakville Trafalgar for the care given to Hilda and a special thank you to the Oliver family for all their love and support.
