Passed away at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of the late Florence (2007). Loved father of Debbie (Ken) Smith of High River, Alberta, Daniel Vermeulen of Yellow Knife, NWT, Randy (Rhonda) Vermeulen of Hamilton, Sheila (Glen) Howell of Belleville and Taunya (Steve Meli) Vermeulen of Fort Erie. Cherished grandfather of eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Hans and sister Dean. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. If desired, memorial donations to the War Amps would be appreciated by the family.
