With sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Harold in his 86th year on Monday, January 11 at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. Very much loved husband to Hannelore. Cherished father of John (Sandy) and David. Dear brother to Nora Helms (late Herman) and brother in law to Kurt Wasner. Grandfather to Nicole (John) and Nathan, great-grandfather to Hunter, Connor, Bella and Kerrilyn. Uncle to Angela MacLennan (Roderick), Sylvia Daly (Brent), Dirk Wasner, and Kirsten Faris (Rob). Predeceased by his parents Edgar and Leontine (nee Osoling), by his first wife Hilda (nee Kuhlmann), by his brother Vido and by his sister Harriett (Jetty). Harold will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. Harold was owner of Silver Star Auto Parts and in 1974 opened Euro-Drive Clutches in Burlington where he worked together with his son David for 40 years. Always involved with the automotive industry, Harold once served as president of the Hamilton Motor Sport Club. Special thanks to the caring staff in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital for all of their care. Cremation has already taken place.
