Verbanz, Gustav - Peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2005, at Albright Manor in Beamsville, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Eva (nee Fischler). Loving father of Lydia (Stewart) Marks of Calgary, Lyerka Vrbanc of Zagreb, Croatia, Helen Verbanz (Normand Carrey) of Halifax and step-father of Frank (Vivian) Pluscht of Grimsby, and the late Anne Schneider. Dear Grandfather of six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Brother of Ivica Knezevic (Rade) and will be missed by other family members in Europe. Predeceased by his brother Branko Vrbanc. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby (905-945-2755) on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., where Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 4, at 11 a.m. Interment Queen`s Lawn Cemetery.
