Obituary for Gustav "Gus" Mueller

Passed away peacefully at McNally House Hospice on Thursday, August 6, 2015 in his 85th year. Predeceased by his loved wife Maria (2004). Loving father of Ludwig (Jadzia), Tom (Teresa), Susanne Abrams (Stewart) and Martin (Emilia). Cherished grandfather of Anita, Adam, Victoria, Mitchell, Myles, Amanda, Jacob, Olivia and Dominick. Beloved brother of Gretal (Stefan) of Germany. Gus will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is a retiree of Dofasco Steel. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff of the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayer Vigils 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Grimsby Mountain Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
