Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Hampton Terrace, Burlington on Thursday, February 11, 2010 in her 82nd year. Trudy Leighton, beloved wife of the late Fred Leighton (1976). Dear mother of Lorraine (Albert) Bird, of Montreal, Fred (Nancy) of Burlington, Robert (Barbara) of Milgrove, Nancy (John) Jayne of Burlington, Timothy of Toronto and the late William (late Lorraine). Adored grandmother of Christina, Jennifer, Nicole, Rob, Jeremy, Cory, Lindsay, Miranda, Meghan, Kelsey, Jesse and great-grandmother of Carroll-Anne, Deacon, Kendra and Jackson. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4025 Mainway Dr. (East Auditorium) on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 7 p.m. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Hamilton Health Sciences Heart Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
