At his home in Burlington, Ontario on Tuesday September 28, 2010, George Simpson of Burlington at the age of 75. Beloved husband for 40 years of Nancy(nee Everett) Simpson. Much loved father of Peter and his wife Lori of Brampton and Lisa and her husband Andrew Owen of Vancouver. Cherished grandfather of Abbey and Jordan. Dear brother of Connie Sherin of Burlington, Wyn Smith (Ray) of Collingwood and Allan Simpson of Oakville. Predeceased by his brother Sonny Ribble. He is also lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and families. George retired as Plant Manager of Freeze-Dry Foods. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON on Sunday 3-5 &7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthew-on-the Plains Anglican Church, 126 Plains Road East, Burlington on Monday October 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the parish hall. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington.
