Obituary for Frank Frederick Lentz

LENTZ, Frank Frederick
After a long battle with Alzheimer`s, on Sunday June 4, 2006 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Frank formerly of Arnprior, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Blondeau). Loving father of Kerry, Mary-Jo and the late John. Cherished Papa of Lisa, John, Melissa, Kristen, Kasey Lentz and Bristien and Elizabeth Havenaar. Great-grandfather of Braelynn and Aiden Schroh. Loved by his many brothers and sisters and their families in the Ottawa Valley and British Columbia. Fondly remembered by his friend Ellen Scroope. All through his career he was extremely hard working both at work and at home. Frank enjoyed 30 years of successful car sales, retiring from Leggatt Pontiac Buick Cadillac. He was thankful for the opportunity to meet so many people. When not selling cars, Frank enjoyed woodworking, his handiwork will last for generations. Although living in Burlington for over 40 years, he maintained strong ties to the Ottawa Valley. Visitation at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke`s Anglican Church, 1371 Elgin Street, Burlington on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 1p.m. Cremation to follow. Private interment at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer`s Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated.
