Obituary for Frank Hodson

Frank Hodson
Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday at his cottage on Bird Lake in Muskoka, and a campfire down by the waterfront later that evening were the last activities to be enjoyed wholeheartedly by Frank. It is then with the most profound sadness that we announce his passing on Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare Centre, Bracebridge. It was so unexpected, but we all give thanks that his passing was peaceful. Loving husband of Nancy Ruddle-Hodson and the late Elsie Hodson. He will be fondly remembered by his children Michael, Peter (Lisa), Stephen (Karen), David (Grace) and Kacey (Antonio). Proud poppa and grandpa of Alison, Victoria, Taylor, James, Maria, Isabella, Ella and Sebastian. Dear brother of Jim (Jaquie) of England. Not only will Frank be missed by his family but also his dog Rufus who will miss his daily walks. Frank was a former choir director of St. Patrick's Parish, Burlington and currently a member of the Holy Rosary Choir, Burlington. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW) BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333) on Wednesday and Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers for Frank, Thursday 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 287 Plains Road, East, Burlington on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10 a.m. Private interment. Reception to follow at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Holy Rosary Roof Fund would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
