Peacefully taken home to be with her Lord, after a brief stay at McNally House, Grimsby, on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Hank for 49 ½ years. Loving mother of Rose Tamming (Gary), Christina Demirbas (Kevin) and Hank (Deanna). Cherished Grandma of Ryan, Jason, Spencer, Lauren, Madison and Mya. Dear sister of Anne DeRoos, Hinke Draaistra (Gert), Mike Draaistra (Clara), Frances Postma (Hank), Frank Draaistra (Harriet), Jane Day (Harry) and sister-in-law of Henny Rensen (John). Predeceased by her sister Tjitske Draaistra (1952). Visitation at Mountainview Christian Reformed Church, 290 Main Street East, Grimsby on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. On Monday, January 31, 2011 a private family interment at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery will be followed by a Celebration service at 1 p.m. at Mountainview CRC.
