Obituary for Evelyn Fay Carr (Marshall)
CARR, Evelyn Fay (nee Marshall) -
Passed away peacefully with Margaret by her side, at Burloak Long Term Care Centre in Burlington, on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at the age of 92. Predeceased by husband George Carr (1972). Loving mother of Margaret Tavner (late David). Dearest sister of Viola Manella, and predeceased by siblings; Graydon Marshall, Bertha MacDonald, Daisy Maltais and Doreena Evoy. Cherished grandmother of Jason Tavner (Tamara) and Kristen Barros (Lindsay), and great-grandmother of Forest, Jackson, Tyson, and Kolten. Evelyn will also be fondly remembered by extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff of Burloak Long Term Care Centre for the compassionate care that Evelyn received over the past 9 years. As per Evelyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Burloak Long Term Care Centre at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Burloak Long Term Care Centre in Evelyn’s memory, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
