Obituary for Elsie Wypych (Norcup)
WYPYCH, Elsie (nee Norcup)-
After a lengthy battle with cancer, at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Adolf Wypych (August, 2014). Loving mother of Susan MacCan (Alan). Cherished grandmother of Kristine Gauthier (Georges), Kevin MacCan (Lisa) and Trevor MacCan, and great-grandmother of Amanda, Meghan, Aaron, Lexi and Chase. Elsie is survived by her sister Mavis Wilshaw and brother-in-law Jozef Wypych. Elsie will also be remembered by her niece Edyta and Zbyszek Pios and their children Michelle and Julia. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 3-5p.m. and 7-9 p.m., where a Funeral Liturgy will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 10:30am. Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens to immediately follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Elsie are asked to please consider the Cancer Clinic at Joseph Brant Hospital or The Carpenter Hospice.
