Passed away peacefully at her home in Burlington, on Saturday, Feburary 11, 2012 at the age of 58, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Libby Slade, beloved wife of Bob Slade for 37 years. Cherished mother of Kathryn Slade and Jennifer Slade (Hani Selbak). She will be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters as well as her many relatives and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
