It is with great sadness after a valiant battle with ALS that we mourn the passing of an incredible lady on March 4, 2010, at the young age of 68. She died as she lived, with great dignity. Beloved wife of Ian McGregor for 46 years. Loving mother of Fiona (Shawn Glassford) and Scott (Wendy Saunders). Proud Nana of Mitchell and Kaitlin Glassford. Cherished sister of Christine (Ian Watson) and Myra Robertson. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. We are grateful to Dr. John Turnbull, Joan Martin, Jane Allen, Maureen Hills, Karen Martindale, Jodee Naylor, Nancy Hubbard, Kim Carey-Williams, all from the Hamilton Health Sciences ALS Clinic for the most compassionate care on behalf of Lis. Nurse Kellie from Acclaim Health, an absolute angel. A very special thanks to Brian and Janeen Bancroft, also George and Rena Martin, John and Pat Lowe, Derek and Joan Kent, Jim and Carol Leckie, John McTrusty and Karen Marshall, for their wonderful support during this tremendous ordeal for Lis. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, March 8, 2010 from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
