KOLOSTA, Elizabeth (nee Malik) –
Peacefully passed away at Hampton Terrace Care Centre, Burlington, on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the age of 97. Predeceased by her loving husband Anthony Kolosta (1964). Devoted mother of Blanche Voitel and her husband Karl, and Janet Kolosta. Dear grandmother of John Dean, James Dean (Cheryl), David Dean, and Debbie Hindrichs (Peter). Great-grandmother of Peter (Sheena), Matthew (Shelly), Nicholas, Jordan, Brandon, and Sadie, and great-great grandmother of Naomi and Chloe. She will be cherished forever in the loving hearts of her family. She was predeceased by her five siblings in Czechoslovakia. Elizabeth was a volunteer for many years with Meals on Wheels and the Joseph Brant Hospital’s Auxiliary. She will be fondly remembered by many extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Hampton Terrace. Visitation will take place at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 BRANT STREET, BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333), on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New Street, Burlington), on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 9am. Private family interment to follow. If desired, flowers sent in Elizabeth’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
