Peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Sunday April 24, 2011, Elizabeth (nee Bowers) Dalrymple of Burlington in her 66th year. Beloved mother of Stephen (Maryse Comeau) of Ajax, Mark of Burlington, Andrew of Toronto, and Carolyn Kirby (Scott) of Burlington. Predeceased by her parents, Olive and Gerald Bowers. Dear sister of Bruce Bowers (Lise) of Bowmanville. Elizabeth retired from the Hamilton Wentworth District Catholic school board where she was a teacher/guidance counsellor at St. Mary's Secondary School. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7:30p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic, 4072 New Street, Burlington on Thursday April 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
