RACZYNSKI, Elisa -
Born in Chur, Switzerland June 7, 1914, died peacefully on July 12, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband, Zbigniew Stanley Raczynski (1989) and her daughter Sophia Ricci (2006). She leaves her daughter Yolanta Lewis (Alex Makuz), son-in-law Mario Ricci, her grandchildren Don Ricci, Monica Nigro (Anthony), and Rob Ricci, and great-grandchildren, Sophia and Matthew Nigro. Elisa was a longtime member of the Swiss Women's Club, Toronto. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m at the Funeral Home. Cremation to follow. A special thanks to her caregiver Aimee Barrientos for her loving care during the last months of Elisa's life, and to the staff at Moll Berczy Haus in Scarborough, and Queen's Garden in Hamilton.
Her strength in overcoming the adversities of her life will be an inspiration to us always.
