Hubbert, Eleanor Ann (nee Lannen)
Peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, on the morning of October 28, 2004. Mrs. Hubbert was born in St. John, New Brunswick, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Shea) Lannen. She was predeceased by her beloved husband David Hubbert of Campbellville, Ontario, in 1987. She is survived by one brother, James Charles Lannen of Edmunston, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews. Latterly, a resident of Appleby Place, Eleanor was known for her sense of humour, personal generosity and quiet faith. She delighted in the title "Old Mother Hubbert" and is greatly missed by family and her many friends. Resting at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), Burlington (905-632-3333). Visitation on Tuesday evening November 2nd from 7-9pm with wake service at 7:30pm. Funeral Service at 11am Wednesday November 3rd in the funeral home as she requested. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Good Shepherd Centre, Hamilton, would be appreciated. May she rest in peace.
