Cobb, Elaine Irene (nee Long)
Peacefully, at her home in Burlington, surrounded by her family after a brief illness on Monday April 17, 2006 at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Michael Cobb. Loving mother of Geff Freeland and his wife Liane of Victoria, B.C. and Alicia Moffat and her husband Albie. Cherished grandmother of Taylor and Cassidy. Dearest sister of Peter Long(Jean), Diane Courrier (Ralph), Ron Long (Vivien) and sister-in-law of Susan Vermeer (Chris). She will be sadly missed by her mother Irene Long, was predeceased by her father Harry Long and will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Elaine was a retired RN from the Hamilton General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Friday from 7-9pm. Memorial Service will be held at Flamborough Baptist Church, 41 5th Concession East, Waterdown, on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
