IMMS, Douglas Ian
Unexpectedly at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the age of 59. Loving fiancée of Peggy Shaver. Beloved brother of Gordon Imms (Butch), the late Bob Imms (Gail) and brother-in-law of David Shaver, Linda Shaver (Bert), Peter Shaver (Nancy). Doug will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews. Already missed by Lucy & Ethel. Doug devoted over 40 years of his life volunteering in youth 10 pin bowling projects. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 12 noon until time of Celebration of Life at 1p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Doug are asked to please consider Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
