It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Donna Susan Dochstader on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, in her 69th year at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. She leaves behind, her beloved and true soul mate Neil of 52 years. Predeceased by her son David (Kim), she is the passionately loved mother of Denise (Rob) and Mark (Effie). Mother of Christine. Treasured and devoted sister of Della (Chris) and cherished auntie of Georgeanne (Darryl). Proud grandmother of Rachel, Adam (Lindsey) and Isaac. Predeceased by parents George and Betty Dagg. Donna was an extraordinary, multi-talented, intuitive woman with a brilliant and beautiful mind. She was an exquisite seamstress and artist in which glitter was always a necessity. She was passionate about gardening and cooking and her phenomenal culinary skills will go unmatched. She read widely and was well versed in the English language, the Queen and issues past and present. She possessed a love of words, enjoyed a good debate and she held her opinions firmly and passionately. She loved unconditionally. Donna's passion for the things around her was multi-faceted, but there was no greater passion than the love she had for Neil. Their love survived time and circumstance and will survive even in death… "Until we meet again." We would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Joan Bellaire and all the caring staff in C-Ward. Cremation has already taken place. Memorial vistiation to be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 1 until 4 p.m. at STONEHOUSE-WHICOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755).
