Obituary for Donald Alexander Wingfield
Peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Barbara. Loving father of Kristin (Dana) and Jamie (Sarah). Loving step-father of David (Susan) and Stephen (Philippa). Beloved grandfather of Hudson, Ella, Brodie, Grace and Ryder. Donald will be greatly missed by Stefanie (Sean), Vanessa, Alison, Andrew and Jennifer. He will be remembered for his love of music. Over the years, Don has played the saxophone in various local bands including The House Band at the Brant Inn. A Memorial Gathering will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 3-5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donald to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
