Obituary for Donald Mervin MacDonald
MacDonald, Don -
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Wednesday February 17, 2016 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Del MacDonald for 58 years. Dear father of Brad MacDonald (Cindy) and Michelle Riley. Proud grandfather of Lindsay, Christopher, Brodie, and Cole, and great-grandfather of Jayce. Don will also be missed by his brother Dennis MacDonald (Gloria), other extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333), on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 10:30am. Private cremation to take place at a later date. If desired, donations in Don’s memory to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciated.
