IRVIN, Donald George - Passed away January 17, 2006, in his 85th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Evelyn for 65 years. Brother of Kathleen Humphrey. Loving father of Judith (Bruce Rankin) and Dawn (Bernie O`Keefe). Devoted grandfather of Kelli (Pallett), Mardi (Douglass) and Ian Rankin. Ever so proud great-grandfather of Jordyn Pallett and Brodie Monohan. Donald retired from H.H. Robertson as Vice President of the Construction Division, was a member of the 1943 Hamilton Wildcats Grey Cup Team, a long-time member of both Hamilton and Burlington Golf Clubs and an honorary life-time member of the Hamilton Construction Association. He was a gentle giant who gave of himself until he could give no more. At Don`s request a private family funeral and cremation was held on Monday, January 23, 2006.
