GRIERSON, Donald Levern
After a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family, at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Don has gone home to be with the Lord at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Norma (nee Spratt). Loving father of daughter Judy Stevens, son-in-law Harry Stevens, daughter Dona Lopez (Christopher), son Doug Grierson (Ruth). Cherished grandfather of Corey (Kari), Saundi (Julian), Kerrie (Tom), Jodie (Dean), Dawn (Glenn), Monica (Troy), Kyle, Ben, Christina (Frady), Lisa, Kim (Dan), loved great-grandfather of Joel, Jacob, Oliver, Noah, Braedan, Kamryn, Jaygo, Grady, Jaeden, Ariana and Tyler. Don was a lifetime volunteer, faithful servant of the Lord and member of West Highland Baptist Church, Hamilton. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Appleby United Church, 4407 Spruce Avenue, Burlington from 12 noon until the time of Funeral Service at 1 pm. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Crossroads Christian Communications.
