Feb. 5, 1949 - Jan. 2, 2016
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his home on Saturday at the age of 66. Loved husband and best friend of Kerry. Beloved father, mentor and hero of his sons Tanner (Taysia) and Travis. Beloved father to daughters Michele (Brett) Chambers, and Kelli. Cherished grandfather of Alex, Matthew, Mallory and Nicholas. Brother of Ginette (Wayne Jones) Underwood, Lorraine (Dave) Gilmour, Dan and Norm (Jackie) Dupuis. Don will be dearly missed by brother-in-law Kirk Stagg, mother-in-law Shirley Stagg and numerous nieces and nephews. As per Don's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
