Suddenly, on Saturday December 31, 2005 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Gould) of 37 years. Loving father of Wendy Freeman and her husband Mike of Burlington and Andrew Burger and his fiancee Camille of Victoria, British Columbia. Cherished poppa of Brian and Ben Freeman. Loved son of Edith and the late Jack Burger and son-in-law of Helen and Norman Gould, all of Port Hope. Brother of Bruce Burger and his wife Carol of Mississauga, brother-in-law of John Gould and his wife Annie of Campbellville. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. Don recently retired from Dofasco after 36 years of service. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
