BATKE Diana Kay (nee Novakovic) - It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Diana after a prolonged illness on Friday, June 16, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at the age of 54. She is survived by her husband Erich, mother Olga, sister Helen Chumley and her two sons Timothy and Steven (Michelle). She will be greatly missed by all her many close friends and relatives who have always prayed for and cared for Diana through her full and happy life. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday, June 20 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Pineland Baptist Church 5100 New Street, Burlington on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In memory of Diana donations can be given to the Canadian Kidney Foundation.
